Picking the RIGHT registry repair software is vital to your computers health. Why you ask? If you pick the wrong computer software that hasn't gone through extensive testing then you run a risk of making your computer problems much worse. I've seen registry repair software that not only doesn't fix the windows registry but renders the computer completely unusable. This leads to inevitable reinstallation of windows. And if you didn't get a chance to backup all your data before running the repair software then all you irreplaceable documents, pictures, and files are gone forever!
In a few I'm going to discuss which windows repair software I found to be the best through my extensive testing, but before I do that I would like to give you a little background on what the windows registry actually is and how it effects the overall performance of your computer..
What is this Windows Registry thing all about?
Wikipedia defines the windows registry as: A is a directory which stores settings and options for the operating system for Microsoft Windows 32-bit versions, 64-bit versions, and Windows Mobile. It contains information and settings for all the hardware, operating system software, most non-operating system software, users, preferences of the PC, etc. Whenever a user makes changes to Control Panel settings, file associations, system policies, or most installed software, the changes are reflected and stored in the registry. The registry also provides a window into the operation of the kernel, exposing runtime information such as performance counters and currently active hardware.
It’s what?
What that basically means is that the registry is a big filling cabinet that stores all your user setting, installed program settings, and preferences...
So why does it make my computer run so darn slow?
Just like in the example above imagine that you have a filling cabinet that has tons of papers and files in it that isn't in any type of numeric or alphabetic order and to make it worse half the files don't even have anything in them at all. As you could guess it could take you hours just to find one file.
Well this is the same for the windows registry. If you have installed various programs, have a computer used by multiple users such as your family, or have just been running the computer for a few months all of these empty files will pile up. This will eventually lead to a much slower and unstable computer. .
That is why it is important to have a registry cleaner. It will go through and find all of those empty unused files and delete them in a safe way that will not do damage to your computer. If you tried to do this manually then you could vary easily destroy you computer rendering it unusable.

Why should I believe you?
Well I could go into a big story about how I've been in the IT field for 10 years now and that I've fixed thousands of computers for various fortune 500 companies? And that I'm the guy that is called in when their own IT department can't even fix their own computers. But does any of that garbage even matter? Absolutely not! See you don't have to believe me, but you do have to believe what you computer is telling you. If you computer is exhibiting any of the behaviors listed below then you absolutely have a windows registry problem.
Ok, so which windows registry software is the best?
I tested out over 15 different registry repair soft wares and this is what I discovered. Registry Easy is by far the best Registry Cleaner out there right now. It is super easy to use, fixed all errors on my test computer, and helped it run extremely fast.
Registry Easy has a very easy and intuitive user interface. It features clean and easy to read buttons on the left side of the program. The first of which is the scan and clean button. You have the option to run the registry cleaner, evidence cleaner, junk file cleaner, or duplicate cleaner.

So the Real Test Begins.....
The first option I ran was the registry cleaner. I decided to run a full registry scan on my test computer. The scan took just a couple of minuets to complete and to my surprise it found a total of 1345 errors. I was expecting maybe a couple hundred errors because it was on my test computer that I knew would have problems but I never would have guessed it would have found 1345 errors. After Registry Easy identified all my registry errors it gave me the option to keep or delete. I decided to delete all of them. Now this might not seem like a big deal but as I mentioned earlier I have been burned tons of time in the past by registry programs that claim it is safe to delete the files it tells you but it turns out after you delete them either the computer is useless and windows has to be reinstalled or half of you programs just stop working. So after deleting all of the error files to my surprise the computer was still working. And not only that, it was working better than it ever had before.
Options Galore!
Next I decided to quickly go through all the other options under the scan and clean button. The evidence cleaner did just what it says it will which is delete your browsing history, cookies files, and other private files. It is vital to delete these files from time to time because if they got into the wrong hands somebody could have everything they need to steal you identify. The junk file cleaner gets rid of backup files that are no longer needed, files with 0 size, temporary files, and various log files.
Here our a list of all the features that Registry Easy has to offer:
